During the past two weeks a group of students and their teacher, Mrs. Corral, from Portland , Maine, USA, came and shared with our community. They stayed with families from the school and had the experience of practicing their Spanish.
The experience was incredible not only for them but also for our students.
“This Exchange to Chile has taught me so many things. At first coming here I was very nervous and I did not know what to expect from classes, people, host families, etc. But when I arrived here I was instantly relieved as my family welcomed me with open arms. The first few days before school I got to see and explore Chile with my family. The city of Santiago itself is beautiful but the landscape and mountains are breathtaking. Starting Monday, we went to school with our host students, the first day through the last day were filled with meeting new faces, experiencing and immersing ourselves in Spanish classes, and exploring the campus. After school, we explored most of the city, seeing Sky Costanera, Valparaiso, ski mountains and so much more of beautiful Chile. The days here flew by and before we knew it was time to say goodbye.
The experience here was amazing and we want to thank you for everything until next time Santiago.”

“For me personally, of my life this was the best experience. The connections I made and the people I met will never be forgotten . Everyone was very inviting and made it feel like I had been living here my whole life. On behalf of ¨My gringo¨ counterparts, I can say they are as happy and satisfied by the experience as I was. My host family feels my rest family, and I can not thank them enough for everything they had done for me during my stay. I appreciate everything on boths ends in means of organizing the trip. It was done excellently. Although our time here was short, I feel like part of CPH and the surrounding community. The stories I have to share upon my return to the USA will be fun to share, and leave others wishing they come too. I can not wait to come back to Chile.”
Thank you guys for everything, Samuel Boese, Timothy Jamie Frangilio, Aiden Smith, Jake Westra, Ethan Mc Cormick, Jared Swisher, Harrison Holmes and Cooger Ball
